Give Through Your IRA: Make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
Support Kitchen Angels with a Tax-Smart Gift
If you’re 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free donation directly from your IRA to Kitchen Angels through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). This powerful giving option allows you to support homebound neighbors facing serious health challenges while potentially lowering your tax burden.
What is a QCD?
A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), also known as an IRA Charitable Rollover, allows individuals age 70½ or older to donate up to $100,000 each year directly from their Traditional IRA to a qualified nonprofit like Kitchen Angels without incurring income tax on the withdrawal.
If you’re age 73 or older, a QCD can satisfy part or all of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)—the minimum amount you must withdraw annually from your IRA.
